Welcome to DTF Owl. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at dtfowl.com (the "Site") and the custom Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfer printing services provided by VBSIS LTD trading as DTF Owl ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company").

By uploading artwork, placing an order, or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Company Information

DTF Owl is a trading name of VBSIS LTD, a company registered in England.

2. Intellectual Property, Copyright & Trademark (Strict Policy)

As a provider of custom printing services, we print the artwork supplied by you. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

User Warranties: By uploading any design, logo, image, or text ("Artwork") to our Site, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of the Artwork, or that you have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and authorizations from the rightful copyright or trademark owner to reproduce the Artwork commercially.

Right to Refuse: We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to review Artwork. We may refuse to print any order that we suspect contains copyrighted material, trademarks, or intellectual property belonging to a third party without authorization, or any material that is offensive, illegal, or violates any laws.

Full Indemnification for IP Infringement: You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VBSIS LTD, its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, damages, liabilities, settlements, and expenses. This explicitly includes paying all of our legal fees, court costs, and any damages awarded if we face legal action, cease-and-desist demands, or financial penalties due to copyright, trademark, or intellectual property infringement arising from the Artwork you submitted.

3. Ordering & Payment

Pre-Authorisation: When you place an order, your payment method is pre-authorised (held) but not immediately charged.

Order Acceptance: We review each order for print feasibility. A contract is only formed, and your payment is only captured, when we accept and begin processing your order. If we cannot fulfil your order (e.g., due to IP concerns or unprintable files), the pre-authorisation will be released, and you will not be charged.

Pricing: All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time without prior notice.

4. Artwork Quality & Colour Accuracy

Resolution: Our order wizard evaluates your uploaded image and provides a DPI (dots per inch) quality indicator. If you proceed with an image flagged as low resolution (below 300 DPI recommended, or below 150 DPI minimum), you accept full responsibility for the final print quality. We will not issue refunds for pixelated or blurry transfers caused by low-resolution source files.

Colour Matching: We use professional-grade CMYK DTF printing equipment. However, colours viewed on a backlit digital screen (RGB) will inevitably vary slightly from physical ink on film (CMYK). We do not guarantee exact Pantone or screen-to-print colour matching and are not liable for standard colour shifts inherent to the DTF printing process.

5. Application Disclaimer & Garment Liability

We supply the printed DTF transfers; you are responsible for their application.

We provide recommended heat press settings (temperature, time, and pressure) as a general guide only.

VBSIS LTD is not liable for any damage caused to garments, fabrics, or other substrates during the application process. This includes, but is not limited to, scorching, melting, dye migration, or transfers failing to adhere.

It is your strict responsibility to test the transfer on a scrap piece of identical fabric before applying it to your final, valuable garments.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Custom Goods Exemption: Because our DTF transfers are custom-made to your exact specifications, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Cancellations: Once an order has been accepted and sent to our print queue, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.

Defective Items: If your transfers arrive with a manufacturing defect (e.g., printer banding, missing white underbase, or damage in transit), you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. If verified, we will issue a free reprint or a refund at our discretion. We do not refund orders due to user application errors.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.

We dispatch orders via Royal Mail or selected couriers. VBSIS LTD is not liable for any loss of income, missed deadlines, or consequential damages resulting from delayed deliveries caused by the courier network.

Risk of loss passes to you once the goods are handed over to the courier.

8. Add-on Services

Optional digital services (such as Background Removal or AI Upscaling) are processed to the best of our team's or software's ability. Results depend heavily on the quality of the original file. These service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VBSIS LTD's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your order shall be strictly limited to the total amount you paid for that specific order. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or cost of replacement garments.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
