How to Apply Iron On Transfers
With a Household Iron
- 1.Place garment on a hard, flat surface (not an ironing board)
- 2.Position transfer face-down, cover with parchment paper
- 3.Set iron to ~150°C (medium), steam off. Press firmly and move slowly - at least 10 seconds per area
- 4.Let cool, peel film slowly, then re-press with parchment for 10 seconds
With a Heat Press
- 1.Pre-press garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture
- 2.Position transfer face-down on garment
- 3.Press at 150°C for 10 seconds with firm pressure
- 4.Peel hot or cold, then re-press with parchment for 5 seconds

Move the iron slowly, ensuring every part of the transfer gets at least 10 seconds of firm pressure. A heat press gives the most consistent results but is not required.

What can I put on an iron on transfer?
Anything you can upload as an image. Logos, photographs, illustrations, text, patterns - if you can see it on screen, we can print it. We accept PNG, JPG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, SVG, and PDF files up to 300MB. For best results, use a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI.
How long do iron on transfers last?
