Always place cardboard or a folded towel inside the bag before pressing. This creates a flat surface and prevents the adhesive from bonding the front panel to the back.

Can you iron transfers onto canvas tote bags?

What temperature should I use for tote bag transfers?
Set your iron or heat press to 150-160°C for cotton canvas. Press for 12-15 seconds with firm, even pressure. Canvas is thick and sturdy, so you can use slightly more heat and pressure than you would on a t-shirt. Place a folded towel or cardboard inside the bag to prevent the front and back bonding together.
Will the transfer survive daily use?
Yes. Our transfers last 50+ washes and hold up to the everyday wear and tear that tote bags face - shopping, commuting, carrying books. The flexible adhesive moves with the fabric and does not crack or peel under normal use.
Can I print on both sides of a tote bag?
