Back of shirt, 15-25cm wide. Each player gets their own name and number. When a player changes number or leaves, just order a replacement transfer for the new player.

Can iron-on transfers handle sports washing?
Yes. Our DTF transfers survive 50+ washes at 30-40°C, which covers standard sportswear care. Wash kit inside-out, avoid fabric softener, and hang dry or tumble dry on low. For youth sports where kit is washed weekly, expect the transfer to last a full season or more.
What about stretchy sports fabrics?
DTF transfers are flexible and stretch with the fabric. They will not crack on polyester jerseys, Lycra base layers, or stretch-fit shirts. The TPU adhesive is designed to flex, unlike screen printing plastisol which can crack on stretchy materials.
Can I add player names and numbers?
Yes. Upload a design with the player name and number, and each transfer can be different. For a squad of 15 players, order 15 transfers with 15 different names and numbers. There is no extra charge for variations - every transfer is individually printed.
Is this cheaper than kit suppliers?
For small clubs, significantly. A kit supplier typically charges £20-40 per printed shirt with a 15+ minimum order. With DTF transfers, you buy blank shirts (£5-10 each from a sportswear wholesaler) and add transfers from £1.99 each. You also avoid the problem of having leftover stock when players leave and new ones join.
Can I print on sublimated shirts?
Yes. DTF transfers work over existing sublimation prints. This is useful for adding player names, squad numbers, or sponsor logos to pre-printed kit. The DTF transfer sits on top of the sublimation print without affecting it.
